Stephen R. Clark is the driving force behind Clark Law Firm, with a national litigation practice representing clients across the country. Mr. Clark has handled cases in over 20 federal district courts, four federal courts of appeal, and the courts of nine states. He has served as lead defense counsel in a number of class actions in state and federal courts. He has tried numerous jury and bench trials, and has argued several appeals.
Mr. Clark has developed and executed legislative strategies, has testified before the Missouri legislature on several occasions, and has participated in the negotiation and drafting of groundbreaking legislation. He has acted as lead counsel for a national telecommunications company in over 250 state tax lawsuits, including a class action and various state and federal suits. Mr. Clark also regularly enforces employment and other arbitration agreements, having represented a national company known as a pioneer in arbitrating employment disputes. Clients routinely call upon Mr. Clark to handle their most complex business disputes.
